Private Selection Bzz Campaign
Kroger has always been my go to source for groceries, and I was excited to get invited in to a BzzCampaign for Kroger's select line of products called Private Selection. I received a BzzKit that had yummy Kettle Chips & coupons for free Private Selection Ground Chuck & a free Private Selection pie. We couldn't have been more pleased with our grilled out burgers. They were juicy & flavorful! Add with it the chips & pie & you have a perfect American summertime meal! Thanks Kroger & BzzAgent for including me in the campaign! We are loyal customers who love your products for their quality & freshness!

Been way too long...
I haven't been on here in forever! It is so nice to look back on old posts and remember the "Good-ole-Days", but I realize I'm still living in those "Good-ole-Days" and need to be better about blogging about it. Where do I start? Ella just finished 2nd Grade! Addie just graduated preschool from the most wonderful christian school around...which happens to be only a mile up the road! How blessed are we? Both girls will be attending a new school this fall.
We are sad to say goodbye to the only school Ella has known...the 'Pond', but with 750 students it was time for a new school to be built in the district. We are lucky that this new, beautiful school has been built right on the other side of our subdivision. Again, only a mile away! Ella is so sad to leave the close friends that will stay at the Pond, but the new school will only have 350 kids, and I see so much opportunity awaiting her and Addie there. There will be so many familiar faces that I feel she will adjust fairly quickly. I tear up just thinking of both my girls walking into that big ole' school this fall...Ella claims they will walk hand-in-hand to and from the carline. Can't wait to see that precious sight.
In other news...we are expecting our third & final baby in just 6 weeks!!! I am hoping for a July 4th baby...guess we will see! It really is like starting all over. Addie will go off to kindy just 1 mos. after my due date. I look forward to getting to bond with the baby while the girls are at school, but a part of me is so sad, because I feel like they should still be my babies. I get so little time with Ella due to school, and now I am losing so much time with Addie as well. Makes me want to home school in many ways. But, I realize they get so much out of the school environment, and I have mostly selfish reasons for wanting to home school.
So, to summarize...CHANGE is the theme word in our family right now! But, that is what life is all about, and it is truly what makes life worth living!

White Christmas 2010
December 24th brought the second snow for Kentucky this winter. According to broadcasts, this was our first White Christmas since 1993. I hope everyone had as much fun making snow angels and having snowball fights as our girls did!

Attempting to Start Blogging Again..
Okay, so today is a sappy, sentimental day. All it takes is a sad song to get me dwelling on the fact that my babies are growing up. Today's song of choice is "Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift. If you are a mommy and haven't heard this one you must run to iTunes and download it now!! My girls are growing up, and the simple fact of the matter is there are so many things about their childhood I have already forgotten. I'm kicking myself right now (and yes my legs are plenty long to do so) that I haven't been better about blogging or scrapbooking the simple little memories of life. I know they may never care about all the minute details, but they are my babies and I always will. So, starting today I'm going to try to be better about writing down more of the sweet little things my babies do and say...even if I am the only one who will ever read it :)
